As the name suggests these blinds fold into pleats when closed. There are various ways to have pleated blinds fitted, the more common application being free-hanging which can generally fit over more than one window.

Another option is cord-guided pleats which fit over each individual piece of glass. These blinds are also very popular because they leave the window sill space free for ornaments and accessories.

Handy hint: These blinds are not really ideal for conservatories that require all round privacy as they are either up or down but they are very good in South facing conservatories where they fit close up to the glass and trap the heat between the blind and the glass.
